• Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.
• Avoid sun exposure for several weeks prior.
• Reduce use of topical exfoliants, acids, and retinoids a few days before treatment.
• Avoid alcohol for 1–2 days prior (sorry!).
• Refrain from taking Aspirin, Ibuprofen, fish oil, and Vitamin E for 10–14 days prior.
• Arrive with clean skin and no lotions or products.
• Eat before your appointment—we’ll be drawing blood for your PRP!
Your provider will apply a numbing cream before the treatment. While the cream takes effect, a small amount of blood will be drawn to extract PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma).
During microneedling, you may feel light stinging and vibration from the device, but it should not be painful.
If you're prone to cold sores, let your provider know in advance so they can prescribe a preventative medication.
Redness and mild stinging—similar to a sunburn—are normal and should subside within a few days.
• Skip facials the day of your microneedling treatment.
• Avoid wearing makeup the day and night after treatment.
• Apply sunscreen consistently and thoroughly.
• Avoid exfoliants and active skincare ingredients until your provider gives the go-ahead.

Expect 3–5 days of social downtime as redness and sensitivity fade. Most clients feel fine within a few days.
You’ll notice a healthy glow within the first 1–2 weeks, with continued improvement over time. For best results, we recommend a series of four treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, then once annually for maintenance.
